New York, NY - Friends of Karen is hosting its 8th Annual Evening at Tribeca Rooftop on Tuesday, August 3th at 6:30 p.m. at 2 Desbrosses Street in New York. An elegant evening of music, a magnificent menu, wonderful waterviews and a spectacular sunset will highlight the event which honors Gene Kurzrok and his son, Howard Kurzrok, both longtime supporters of the organization.

Friends of Karen is pleased to announce the continued partnership with the Entergy Corporation through a $5,000 grant designated to help families in Westchester, Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Dutchess counties pay their primary housing expenses. Families to receive these funds have a child who has been diagnosed with cancer or another life-threatening illness. Due to their mounting medical expenses, these families are no longer able to keep up with their mortgage, rent, or other housing related bills.
