In Fiscal 2009, under the Umbrella program, Friends of Karen helped 30 children and their families.
In addition to emotional support, Friends of Karen spent $39,060 on illness related expenses to help these families, last year.
The Jonathan T. Weiss Memorial Fund, named for an esteemed President of the Friends of Karen Board of Directors, supports the Umbrella program.
